Meet Our Teachers

Meet the Soul & Energy of Bliss Dance ✨
Introducing Tara & Ilya — two dancers, teachers, and creators united by their passion for movement, music, and community. Together, they bring a wealth of international experience and unique styles to Bliss Dance, right here in the heart of Tbilisi.

Tara

Tara — founder and soul of Bliss Dance — has dedicated her life to the art of dance.
Her journey began at a young age, with deep training in gymnastics, ballet, contemporary, ballroom, hip-hop, and belly dance. But it was social dancing — bachata, salsa, and kizomba — that truly captured her heart.

With over 22 years of dance and 10+ years of teaching, Tara has studied and taught across Georgia, Italy, and Russia, and regularly teaches at international festivals throughout Europe. She’s also completed professional teacher training programs, allowing her to lead not just with skill, but with soul, care, and emotional depth. Her classes are thoughtful, welcoming, and full of feeling.

Ilia

Ilya — the energy and creative force of Bliss Dance — brings over 18 years of dance experience to the studio.
He began with street styles, especially hip-hop and house, performing in battles and competitions for many years. When he discovered bachata over 7 years ago, he dove deep into the world of Latin dances — and hasn’t stopped since.

Ilya has trained with top instructors and danced at festivals and socials across Spain, Israel, Italy, Australia, and more. He’s also a multiple-time bachata competition winner. His unique style fuses the raw rhythm of street dance with the grace of social dance — creating something truly his own.

What Our Students Say

I’m currently a student at this studio, taking bachata classes, and I truly want to leave a heartfelt review ❤️

This is not just a dance school — it’s a real family. When I come here, I literally stop thinking about everything else. No problems, no worries — I just relax and fully enjoy the moment.

A special thank you to Tara and Ilya. They are wonderful teachers — attentive, supportive, and highly professional. Thanks to them, I’ve made significant progress quite quickly. I’ve learned to move beautifully and feel much more confident in my body. They explain everything so clearly that you can’t help but improve.

There is such a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the studio. It’s truly a place where I feel happy and free. I sincerely love this place and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone ❤️

These classes are pure endorphins and dopamine. You come in tired, and leave with a smile, lightness, and the feeling that you’ve done something really good for yourself. I love the way Tara and Ilya teach: they explain everything clearly, correct you gently, and genuinely guide you toward real progress. And one extra wow moment — they explain everything in three languages at the same time 😊
Another huge plus is that it doesn’t all end with the classes — the school regularly hosts parties and social events. But the most valuable thing is the feeling that they’re not just “teaching you to dance” here — they’re creating a real family: support, friendliness, lots of practice, and people who simply make you feel good to be around.

I really enjoy Tara and Ilia’s bachata classes – they create a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment.

What stands out is that they focus not only on teaching steps, but on proper technique and details like posture, eye focus, and connection, so both leaders and followers can dance comfortably and safely.

They even make sure that during cambré no one hurts a partner’s back, and during head rolls no noses are accidentally sacrificed 😊 Haha!
Their thorough explanations make the learning process clear, relaxed, and fun.
Definitely recommend!

My favorite studio! I really love both the teachers and the students here. It’s especially great for beginners because everyone gets personal attention and the support is truly incredible ❤️
